INTRODUCTION:
Greetings from the last “warm” morning at Red Dawn for the foreseeable future. A group of strong PAX kicked the week off on a high note by pushing themselves through an exhausting beatdown nicknamed, ‘The Mad Olympian’ which is characterized by Olympic weightlifting style exercises, plus full 400 meter laps between sets.
Despite Scooter’s best efforts to throw us by launching multiple tear gas canisters into the circle, we managed to get through the disclaimer, five core, and mission statement with only minimal laughing distractions.
We then loosened up with the below exercises
– SSH (Side Straddle Hops) – 25 IC
– Daisy picker 10 IC
– Willie mays Hayes 10 IC
– Toy soldier – 10 IC
– Burpees – 10 IC
PAX then farmer carried rucks to track where YHC unveiled and demoed ‘The Mad Olympian’ (outlined below). From there it was on like donkey Kong with only brief 10 count rest between sets. Everyone pushed hard for the entire THANG. YHC was running on E by the end. Judging by the speed the PAX was moving during Mary, there wasn’t a full tank to go around.

PAX then ruck shuffled to the flag for Mary.
She brought a 20 count of ruck v-ups, 20 overhead ruck flutter kicks, 45 seconds of ruck planks and 10 more ruck v-ups.
